Ep 1. Snack Time

Steve, the host of Blue's Clues, invites young viewers to join him and his playful puppy Blue in their world of learning, discovery, and adventure. In season 1 episode 1, titled Snack Time, Steve sets out to solve a mystery with the help of his blue furry friend and their viewers.

Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper tell Steve that they've seen something round and purple, which leads to the next clue.

The third clue comes from Steve's mailbox, who has a message from a surprise guest. The guest turns out to be Steve's brother Joe, who arrived with a basket full of fruits and vegetables. Joe encourages Steve and Blue to try different healthy snacks, and they do.

Steve and Blue continue to look for clues, and they soon end up in the backyard where they find Blue's friend, the worm. The worm takes the clue inside an apple, which Steve and Blue have to figure out how to open. After solving a puzzle, they find the last clue and finally figure out what Blue wants to eat for Snack Time.

The episode ends with Steve gathering all the ingredients and following Blue's clues to create a delicious snack that both he and Blue can enjoy.
