In the second episode of Blue's Clues season 1, titled "What Time is it for Blue?", the lovable Blue is back again to engage children in another exciting adventure filled with learning opportunities. Steve, Blue's friend, is ready to play Blue's favorite game- "Blue's Clues". The game involves looking for three clues Blue will leave and Steve must find them to solve the mystery question.

Steve tells Blue it's "time" to play Blue's clue game but Blue quickly realizes that her clock is missing. Steve and Blue team up to find the clock that they need to play the game. In the process of searching for the clock, Steve and Blue explore the concept of time, introduce numbers and counting, and teach how to read an analog clock.

Firstly, Steve and Blue look for the clock in her toy box, but they find nothing there. They then go to the kitchen, and Steve teaches us how to read an analog clock while searching for the clock at the same time. They eventually find it on top of the refrigerator and need to come up with ways to get it down using objects around the kitchen.

Throughout the episode, Steve often breaks down complex concepts for children in easy-to-understand terms through the use of music, songs, and a lot of interactivity. In one of the scenes, Steve sings a song on the concept of time and reminds the viewers about the different ways time is measured using seasons, months, days, and weeks.

The episode features a lot of interactive elements, where Steve will pause the show and ask kids watching to help him out by answering questions or looking around the room for a clue. Steve also incorporates counting, asking viewers to count along with him as he counts different objects in the show like oranges, batteries, and carrots.

Steve and Blue teach children about problem-solving and observation skills as they work together to find the missing clock. Steve will often ask viewers for help in finding clues to locate the clock, which not only gives viewers a sense of pride but also develops their problem-solving skills.

"What Time is it for Blue?" is a fun, engaging episode that parents and children can watch together, providing a great opportunity for learning and bonding. It helps to teach children how to tell time, count, and solve problems. This episode, like the rest of Blue's Clues, encourages creativity, emphasizes teamwork, and provides a safe and fun learning environment for children.
