Booze Traveler Season 1 Episode 13 Belize: Paradise Found

Maxwell also visits the country's first known brewery, Belikin Beer, where he samples their signature lager and learns about the company's history.

Moving on to the island of Ambergris Caye, Maxwell takes part in a traditional Garifuna drumming ceremony and learns about the cultural significance of the music and dance. He also tries a local drink called "Cashew Wine," made from fermented cashew fruit, and enjoys fresh ceviche made with local seafood.

Next, Maxwell travels to the Mayan ruins of Xunantunich, where he learns about the history and mythology of the ancient civilization. He also climbs to the top of the ruins for a stunning view of the surrounding jungle and savannah.

Continuing his journey, Maxwell heads to the town of San Ignacio to explore the local market and try a spicy local drink called "One Barrel Rum." He also meets a local woman who shows him how to make traditional corn tortillas and tries the local delicacy of "chocolate chicken," a savory chicken dish flavored with cocoa.

Finally, Maxwell heads to the remote village of San Antonio to learn about the making of traditional Mayan chocolate. He grinds cocoa beans by hand and adds traditional spices like cinnamon and chilli before enjoying a hot cup of rich, spiced chocolate.
