Born To Explore is an exciting travel and adventure series that takes viewers around the world to discover different cultures and marvel at stunning natural landscapes. Season 4 episode 8 is titled Extreme Survivors, and it promises to be a heart-pumping and mind-boggling journey of survival.

In this episode, adventurer and host Richard Wiese takes us to some of the most extreme and unforgiving terrains on the planet to meet people who have survived against all odds. Whether it's the scorching heat of the Sahara Desert or the icy wilderness of the Arctic, these men and women have adapted to their surroundings and learned to thrive in unimaginable conditions.

One of the first extreme survivors we meet is a man who lives in the Namib Desert in Namibia, one of the hottest and driest places on Earth. Here, temperatures can easily soar to over 120 degrees Fahrenheit, and water is scarce. However, the man we meet has found a way to not only survive but also thrive in this harsh environment. He shows us how he locates water and food sources, and how he has built a shelter that protects him from the searing heat.

Next, we travel to the Arctic region to meet a group of Inuits, who have lived for centuries in one of the harshest and most inhospitable environments on the planet. Despite facing extreme cold, snowstorms, and polar bears, these people have found ways to hunt, fish, and survive in the frozen tundra. Richard learns how to build an igloo, how to start a fire, and how to sew warm clothes using animal hides.

Moving on, we head to the Amazon rainforest, where we meet a tribe that lives deep in the jungle and relies on its rich and diverse ecosystem for survival. Here, Richard learns about the medicinal plants and herbs that the tribe uses to treat ailments and injuries, and he gets a taste of some of the exotic fruits and vegetables that grow in the dense foliage. He also tries his hand at hunting with a bow and arrow, a skill that has been passed down from generation to generation.

The final destination on our survival journey is the Australian outback, where we meet a man who has spent most of his life in the wilderness. He takes Richard on a grueling trek through the rugged terrain, stopping to point out different plants and animals along the way. He also teaches Richard how to find water in the desert and how to build a shelter using only a few sticks and some grass.

Throughout the episode, Richard emphasizes the importance of resilience and adaptability, and how these qualities have enabled humans to survive and thrive in different parts of the world. He also highlights the importance of respecting and preserving the natural environment, and how our actions can have a profound impact on the delicate balance of ecosystems.

Overall, Extreme Survivors is a captivating and inspiring episode of Born To Explore that showcases the amazing resilience of the human spirit and the awe-inspiring beauty of our planet.
