Cory and his friends are back in season 4 episode 10 of Boy Meets World titled "Turkey Day". As Thanksgiving approaches, the Matthews family is preparing for their annual feast, but they're met with a few unexpected guests.
As usual, Cory's parents Alan and Amy are hosting Thanksgiving dinner and expecting the whole family to be there. However, when Eric shows up with his college roommate Jack and Jack's girlfriend Rachel, Amy is surprised and a bit flustered. She wasn't expecting the extra guests and is now worried about having enough food, space, and everything else needed to host the perfect Thanksgiving dinner.
Adding to the mix, the Matthews' neighbor Mrs. Wong is also planning to join the celebration. She arrives a little early, and immediately, things begin to go wrong. Feeling stressed and overwhelmed, Amy enlists the help of the family to prepare for the big day. This year, however, her turkey is ruined, and time is running out to make a new one.
Meanwhile, Cory and Topanga are having a little love trouble of their own. Topanga wants to spend Thanksgiving together with just the two of them, cooking and watching movies. Cory, however, is enthralled with the family tradition and insists on being there for the big family dinner instead. The disagreement between the couple gets heated and they soon find themselves arguing over what Thanksgiving means to them.
As the day progresses, the guests begin to arrive, and the Matthews' living room is soon filled with people. To make room, Eric and Jack decide to move the Thanksgiving feast to their dorm room. But all is not well there, either; earlier in the day, they had invited Shawn to spend the day with them. However, when Shawn arrives, he realizes that Jack's girlfriend Rachel is his half-sister. Shocked and unsure what to do, Shawn keeps the secret to himself.
Back at the Matthews' house, Topanga is still upset about Cory's decision to place family traditions above their relationship. But with a ruined turkey and all the guests gone, the couple finally has a chance to talk. In the end, they come to a compromise and agree to create their own Thanksgiving tradition, one that combines family and the person they love.
As the episode wraps up, we see that even though things didn't go as planned, the Matthews family and their friends still had a memorable Thanksgiving. Cory and Topanga have new plans for their relationship, Shawn and Rachel bond, and Mrs. Wong even learns how to use a blender. At the end of the day, it's not about having the perfect turkey, having enough room, or even sticking to tradition, but about spending time with those you love, creating memories, and being grateful for what you have.
