As the competition begins, it quickly becomes apparent that Lucretius is a formidable opponent. He seems to have an endless appetite and is able to consume large amounts of food without any adverse effects. Godou struggles to keep up, but he remains determined to win.

As the competition progresses, Lucretius begins to reveal more about his powers and his past. He explains that he is the last surviving member of an ancient kingdom, and his abilities are tied to the gluttony of his people. He also reveals that he has had previous dealings with the troublesome god they are searching for.

Despite the odds, Godou manages to hold his own against Lucretius. His determination and willpower allow him to consume an impressive amount of food, keeping up with Lucretius at every turn. In the end, Godou emerges as the victor of the competition.
