Carol Duvall Show Season 14 Episode 23 Topsy-Turvy Doll, Primitive Art Jars, Copper Cachepot
Crafter Ana Araujo re-creates the classic topsy-turvy doll using wooden spools and some simple sewing techniques. Then Frank Matranga, a Manhattan Beach artist, uses primitive designs as the basis for incredible art jars. Finally Carol makes a plant holder using a sheet of medium gauge copper as the base material. She die cuts flowers and frogs out of different types of metal sheets to decorate the cache pot. Tiny brad fasteners and a crimping tool add more dimension to this fun project.
