Episode 3 of Code: Realize ~ Guardian of Rebirth ~ (Sub) Vampire Requiem starts off with Cardia, Lupin, and the rest of their companions continuing their journey to London. Cardia is still struggling to come to terms with her newfound freedom and her feelings for Lupin. Meanwhile, Lupin is preoccupied with a personal matter that he refuses to share with anyone else.

As they approach a forest, they run into a group of vampires who have taken refuge there. The vampires are led by a mysterious woman named Delacroix who seems to know Lupin. Delacroix invites them to a party that the vampires are hosting that night, but Lupin is hesitant to accept. Despite his reservations, they decide to attend the party in order to learn more about the vampires and their intentions.

At the party, Cardia and the others are introduced to the other vampires, including a young girl named Finis who immediately catches Cardia's attention. They also learn that the vampires are in possession of an item called the Philosopher's Stone, which they claim can grant eternal life. Lupin is suspicious of the vampires and their motives, but he keeps his guard up and continues to gather information.

As the night progresses, Lupin finds himself face to face with Delacroix, who reveals that she has been searching for him for many years. Lupin is shocked by this revelation and tries to flee, but Delacroix captures him and takes him to a secret room. There, she reveals that she is a former lover of Lupin's and that he had promised to help her escape from the vampire world many years ago. Lupin had broken his promise and left her behind, and Delacroix has been searching for him ever since.

Back at the party, Cardia and the others start to realize that something is amiss. They discover that the Philosopher's Stone is actually a fake and that the vampires have been using it to lure unsuspecting humans into their grasp. Just as they are about to be captured by the vampires, Lupin comes to their rescue and together they manage to escape.

As they make their way back to London, Lupin finally opens up to Cardia and reveals the reason why he had been so preoccupied. He tells her that he had received a letter from his nemesis, the infamous Count of Monte Cristo, who had challenged him to a showdown. Lupin is determined to face the Count and settle their long-standing feud once and for all.

The episode ends with Lupin and the others arriving back in London, where they are greeted by the rest of their companions. Cardia is still struggling with her feelings for Lupin, but she is comforted by the knowledge that she has people who care about her and will protect her no matter what.
