Ep 3. 98 Seconds

After a tense cliffhanger at the end of episode 2, where Will was forced to betray his friend Carlos to protect his family from the Redhats, episode 3 begins with Will and Katie finally revealing to each other that they have been keeping secrets. Katie is shocked to learn that Will is working for the occupation, and Will is equally surprised to discover that Katie has been recruiting resistance fighters. This revelation leads to tension and distrust between the couple, as they struggle to reconcile their conflicting loyalties.

Meanwhile, the occupation cracks down on illegal activity in the Los Angeles bloc, with a new initiative called "98 Seconds," in which the authorities will respond to any suspicious activity within 98 seconds. This puts the entire population on edge, as the slightest infraction can lead to immediate arrest or worse. Will is ordered by his superior, Snyder, to make an example of a black market dealer who has been selling supplies to the resistance, in order to send a message to the community that the occupation will not tolerate any defiance.

At the same time, Katie uncovers a lead on a major coup for the resistance: a transport truck filled with medical supplies. Desperate to gain these resources, the resistance formulates a risky plan to intercept the transport, but they need someone with inside knowledge of the occupation's operations to help them pull it off. Katie turns to her sister's husband, who works as a Redhat, to provide the necessary intel.

As tensions rise in the bloc and the clock ticks down on the 98 Seconds initiative, Will and Katie find themselves increasingly at odds. Will is torn between his obligation to the occupation and his desire to protect his family, while Katie is driven by her need to fight back against the oppressive regime. When their paths cross in the midst of the chaos, they are forced to confront their conflicting loyalties and decide where their allegiances truly lie.

"98 Seconds" is a tense and action-packed episode that shows the consequences of living in a society ruled by fear and oppression. As the occupation tightens its grip on the bloc and the people are forced to make impossible choices, the lines between right and wrong become blurred, leaving characters to grapple with the consequences of their actions.
