In Combat Pawn season 1 episode 4, titled "Warhorse Knife," the crew at the Gunsmoke Pawn Shop in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, prepare for a visit from Hollywood director Michael Bay and his team who are looking for authentic military weapons and gear for their upcoming film.

Owner Tommy Cazes and his team are determined to impress Bay by presenting him with an authentic Civil War era cavalry sword, also known as a "Warhorse Knife." However, they are faced with the challenge of proving its authenticity, as it was purchased at an auction without any documentation.

To cast doubt on its authenticity even further, their resident Civil War expert, Jimmy, points out that the sword has markings on it that suggest it was made post-Civil War, which could hurt its value. Determined to prove its worth, the team reaches out to renowned sword expert, Vince Pennington, for help.

Meanwhile, the shop's resident weapon specialist, Alex, has his sights set on acquiring a World War II-era Japanese samurai sword, also known as a "Nihonto." He comes across a seller who claims to have inherited the sword from his grandfather, who served in Japan during the war. Alex carefully inspects the sword and tries to strike a deal, but the seller proves to be tough negotiator.

Back with the Warhorse Knife, Vince Pennington arrives to examine the sword and offer his expert opinion on its authenticity. He studies the sword carefully and despite its post-Civil War markings, determines that it is, in fact, an original Civil War artifact. Excited by this news, the crew prepares for Michael Bay's visit and hopes to close the deal on the sword.

When Bay and his team arrives at the shop, they are impressed by the wide range of military gear and weapons that Tommy has to offer. He presents them with the Warhorse Knife and they are immediately drawn to its unique features. After Vince confirms its authenticity and value, they strike a deal with Tommy and add the sword to their collection for the film.

Meanwhile, after negotiating back and forth with the seller, Alex finally secures the Nihonto and is thrilled with his acquisition. He shows it off to the rest of the team and they are equally impressed by its pristine condition.

Overall, "Warhorse Knife" proves to be an exciting and eventful episode, with the team working tirelessly to prove the authenticity of their prized Civil War artifact and acquiring new pieces for the shop. Viewers are treated to a glimpse of the fascinating world of military pawn shops and the lengths that the team will go to in order to secure rare and valuable military artifacts.
