Leanne's hungover. Peter keeps quiet about the glass of wine he had. Trevor moves into Janice's flat. She cooks a chilli for him and enjoys his banter. Leanne explains to Ciaran how serious Peter's alcohol problem was. Claire gives Becky a book on pregnancy. Becky's clearly terrified by the whole idea. Peter attends an alcoholics' meeting. He tells the group how he reckons he's cured as he had one drink but didn't have another one. The group leader is sceptical. Peter heads for a pub. He has a half of bitter and leaves. Becky tells a delighted Steve that she's 9 weeks pregnant and the baby is due in August. Betty's 90th birthday party takes place in the Rovers. She's put out when an old biddy called Enid Crump turns up and claims she's the oldest barmaid at 91. Ken's annoyed when Peter forgets to pick Simon up from school. He can smell mints on Peter's breath and asks him if he's been drinking. Peter takes offence and storms off leaving Ken worried. Tyrone's depressed as he sits alone in No.9 surrounded by dirty dishes and take-away debris. Peter suggests to Leanne he could have the occasional drink. Leanne's alarmed but tries not to show it.
