The show Corpse Princess follows the story of Makina Hoshimura, a girl who became a "Shikabane Hime" after dying in a brutal fashion. Shikabane Hime are undead girls who have a mission to hunt down and destroy other undead beings called Shikabane, which are the corpses of humans who have died with regrets or grudges that turn them into monsters. In season 1, episode 17 titled "Itsuki's Form," Makina and her allies continue their battle against the mysterious group known as the Seven Stars.
In this episode, the focus is on Itsuki Yamagami, a member of the Seven Stars who wields the power to control water. Itsuki is a tough opponent for Makina and her team because of his ability to manipulate the environment around him to his advantage. However, Makina is determined to take him down and put an end to the Seven Stars' reign of terror once and for all.
The episode begins with Makina and her team infiltrating a high-security facility where the Seven Stars are rumored to be holed up. They split up to search for clues, but Makina soon finds herself face to face with Itsuki. The two engage in a fierce battle, with Itsuki using his water powers to flood the room and try to drown Makina. However, she manages to hold her own and fight back with her trusty dual guns.
As the fight continues, Makina begins to realize that there may be more to Itsuki than meets the eye. She senses a deep sadness and loneliness within him, and wonders if he truly wants to be fighting on the side of the Seven Stars. This realization causes Makina to hesitate for just a moment, and that hesitation proves to be her undoing.
Itsuki takes advantage of Makina's momentary distraction and unleashes a devastating attack that sends her flying across the room. She lands hard and is knocked unconscious, leaving her vulnerable to Itsuki's next move.
Meanwhile, Makina's allies continue to search the facility and find some important clues that could help them bring down the Seven Stars once and for all. They discover that the group has been experimenting on Shikabane and trying to create a new type of creature that is even more powerful than the ones they currently control. This news only strengthens their resolve to put an end to the Seven Stars' plans.
Back in the fight with Itsuki, Makina awakens to find herself trapped in a water bubble that Itsuki has created around her. She struggles to break free, but the bubble only gets tighter and tighter. Itsuki tells her that he has no choice but to fight on the side of the Seven Stars, as they are the only ones who can help him achieve his goals. He reveals that he is searching for a way to bring back his deceased sister, and that the Seven Stars have promised to help him do so if he helps them with their plans.
Makina listens to Itsuki's story with empathy and understanding, but she knows that she must still defeat him in order to stop the Seven Stars. With a burst of energy, she manages to break free from the water bubble and launch a powerful attack at Itsuki. The two continue to battle fiercely, but Makina eventually comes out on top and defeats Itsuki once and for all.
In the aftermath of the battle, Makina and her team regroup and reflect on everything they have learned about the Seven Stars and their plans. They know that their fight is far from over, but they are more determined than ever to stop the group and bring peace to the world of the living and the dead.
