Ep 7. Time to Move On

In Cougar Town season 5 episode 7 titled "Time to Move On," Jules is still struggling with the fact that Travis has moved out and is now engaged to start a new life with his fiancée. While Jules tries to remain stoic about it all, she can't help but feel sad and worried about her own future.

Meanwhile, Laurie and Ellie are determined to help Jules move on – which means getting her back into the world of dating. They set up a dating profile for her online, and before long, Jules is messaging with a few different guys. But even as she begins to feel excited about the prospect of meeting someone new, she can't shake the nagging feeling that she's just not ready.

Elsewhere in the episode, Grayson and Andy are busy trying to come up with ideas for a new business venture. They land on the idea of starting a new hot sauce company, but run into some unexpected obstacles along the way.

As the episode progresses, Jules realizes that she needs to take some time for herself before jumping back into the dating game. She enlists the help of her friends to create a bucket list of things she's always wanted to do, but never had the chance. Together, they set out to accomplish each of these goals – from singing karaoke to going skydiving.

Throughout the episode, Jules struggles to come to terms with the fact that her son is growing up and moving on with his own life. She grapples with the realization that she too needs to start thinking about her own future, even if that means facing some uncomfortable truths about herself and what she wants out of life.

By the end of the episode, Jules has come a long way. She's learned to let go of some of her fears and embrace new challenges. And while she's not quite ready to start dating just yet, she knows that she's on the right path. As she takes a moment to reflect on everything she's been through, she realizes that it's time to move on – both from her son's departure and from the past that's been holding her back.
