Ep 3. Blood Ties

When a dangerous artifact from the future is stolen by the notorious serial killer, the team of heroes on DC's Legends of Tomorrow is sent to 1975 to retrieve it. The episode, titled "Blood Ties," features the team working in Donner Pass, California, during an unsettling time in US history.

While in 1975, the team discovers that the local police department is being run by the corrupt sheriff, who just so happens to be the serial killer they've been sent to stop. The team must find a way to stop the sheriff from using the artifact to change the course of history for his own gain, while also avoiding getting caught in the corrupt system.

As the episode progresses, the team races against time to stop the sheriff, risking their own lives and almost getting caught in the process. Along the way, viewers are treated to a bit of character development, as the team members begin to figure out how to work together and become the united force needed to stop the sheriff.

The episode features plenty of action, including some sequences that even rival the most intense scenes from the first two episodes. For fans of the genre, there are also some moments of humor and a few Easter eggs for the diehard DC Universe fans.

Overall, "Blood Ties" proves to be a thrilling addition to the Legends of Tomorrow franchise. With a fast-paced plot, memorable characters and enough twists and turns to keep even the most jaded viewer engaged, this episode is a must-see for fans of the series.
