Ep 5. Fail-Safe

When Vandal Savage almost detonates a nuclear bomb in 1986, the team rushes to stop him. However, they soon find themselves trapped on the Waverider with no way to escape or communicate with the outside world.

With tensions running high and resources running low, the team must work together to find a way to neutralize the bomb before it's too late. But as the clock ticks down, they begin to realize that they may have to sacrifice one of their own to save the rest of humanity.

Meanwhile, tensions between Ray and Snart come to a head as they argue about the best way to handle the situation. And as the team struggles to stay alive, they begin to question whether they're truly equipped to handle the dangerous missions they've been tasked with.

In the end, the team manages to avert disaster and save the day, but not without paying a heavy price. As they mourn their losses and try to regroup, they realize that their adventures aren't over yet and that they must continue fighting to protect the timeline from those who would seek to destroy it.
