Ep 9. Love of Money

In Deadly Women season 11 episode 9, titled "Love of Money," viewers are presented with the stories of three women for whom the pursuit of wealth and material possessions led to deadly consequences.

The second woman featured in the episode is Celeste Beard. Celeste was a former stripper who married a wealthy businessman named Steven Beard. Steven had a daughter from a previous marriage named Tracey Tarlton, whom Celeste grew to hate. Celeste spent years trying to get Steven to cut Tracey out of his life and leave all his wealth to her. When Steven refused, Celeste hired a hitman named Tracey Tarlton (who happened to have the same name as Steven's daughter) to kill him. Tracey carried out the murder and Celeste inherited Steven's wealth. However, the police eventually uncovered the conspiracy and Celeste was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

The final woman featured in "Love of Money" is Marjorie Diehl-Armstrong. Marjorie was a wealthy woman with a history of mental illness. She became obsessed with a man named William Rothstein, who she believed had buried millions of dollars in treasure somewhere in the town of Erie, Pennsylvania. Marjorie enlisted the help of two men, Kenneth Barnes and Floyd Stockton, to kidnap and kill Rothstein in order to get him to reveal the location of the treasure. However, things did not go as planned and Rothstein died before revealing the location. Marjorie tried to dispose of his body in a freezer, but her plan was discovered and she was eventually arrested. She was already serving a prison sentence for a previous crime by the time she was convicted of Rothstein's murder.

Overall, "Love of Money" is a chilling exploration of the lengths that some people will go to in order to attain wealth and material possessions. The three women featured in the episode are all driven by greed, but their stories are also a reminder of the devastating consequences that can come from such obsessions. Viewers are left to contemplate the dangers of loving money more than anything else in life, and the warning signs that may indicate when someone is on a dangerous path.
