Ep 1. Episode 1

On a quiet night in the city of Odaiba, Tokyo, Tai Kamiya wakes up to find his smartphone has received a mysterious message. As he reads it, his closet door opens on its own, revealing a portal that sucks him inside. Tai finds himself in a strange digital world, surrounded by creatures called Digimon. He quickly meets up with his old companions - Matt, Sora, Izzy, Mimi, Joe, and T.K. - and their Digimon partners. Together they begin to explore the digital world, determined to solve the mystery of why they have been called back after so many years.

As they wander through the unknown terrain, they are attacked by a strange creature, making it clear that they are not welcome in this world. The group of friends, still unsure how to fully harness the power of their Digimon partners, struggle to defend themselves against these unknown threats. However, they soon discover that the danger they face is even greater than they first realized; as they learn about the appearance of an unknown enemy, alongside a mysterious message which reads "The adventure now evolves again..."

As the story progresses, the group learns that the mysterious Digimon they encountered are infected by a virus, causing them to become more aggressive and powerful. Meanwhile, the city of Tokyo is being overrun with the infected Digimon, creating widespread chaos and destruction. The situation becomes even more dire when they encounter a Digimon that had long been presumed to be dead - the dark and powerful Digimon, Apocalymon.

The friends continue to struggle with their roles as the chosen children, uncertain of how to use their powers to stop the spread of the virus. Luckily, they are soon joined by Meiko, a new student at their school, who also possesses a Digimon partner. With Meiko on their side, they begin to develop new strategies for dealing with the infected Digimon and eventually start to make progress towards finding the source of the virus.

As the first episode of Digimon Adventure tri., Episode 1 sets the stage for a new adventure that both old fans and new viewers can enjoy. While the plot may be a bit convoluted at times, the show's engaging characters and exciting action scenes more than make up for any confusion. Overall, Episode 1 is a promising start to an exciting new chapter in the story of the digital world and its brave heroes.
