Marcus is a young boy who is passionate about fighting and always looking out for trouble. He has a special bond with his Digimon partner, Agumon, who helps him fight against the evil Digimons that threaten the world.

In episode 2 of season 1, Marcus' Inner Strength!, we see Marcus going up against two thieving Digimons named Gizumon. The team of DATS (Digital Accident Tactics Squad) is called in to assist him in stopping them from causing more destruction.

With the help of Thomas' plan and Marcus' renewed determination, they are able to successfully take down the Gizumon. Marcus learns an important lesson about not comparing himself to others and overcoming his inner doubts.
