In the twelfth episode of the third season of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, host Guy Fieri travels across America to explore the different types of BBQ that exists in the country. From Texas-style brisket to the unique BBQ flavors of Hawaii, Fieri sets out on a mission to taste the best of the best.

The episode starts with Fieri in Dallas, Texas, where he visits a restaurant famous for their slow-cooked brisket. The meat is marinated in a secret blend of spices for 24 hours before being cooked for up to 18 hours in a giant smoker. Fieri also tries some of their house-made sausage, which is equally delicious.

Next, Fieri travels to Memphis, Tennessee, where he samples some of the city's famous dry rub BBQ. At one restaurant, he tries a BBQ spaghetti dish that is unique to the area. The spaghetti is cooked al dente and then smothered in a rich, tomato-based BBQ sauce before being topped with smoked pork. Fieri calls it a "mind-blowing" dish.

Fieri then heads to Alabama to try the state's famous white BBQ sauce. Unlike the traditional red BBQ sauce, this sauce is made with mayonnaise, vinegar, and a blend of spices. Fieri tries it on smoked turkey and says it's one of the best flavor combinations he's had.

The next stop on Fieri's BBQ tour is Kansas City, Missouri, where he tries a Burnt Ends dish made from the charred ends of brisket. He also samples some of the city's famous sweet and tangy BBQ sauce.

Fieri then heads to the Pacific Northwest to try Seattle-style BBQ. At one restaurant, he tries a Korean BBQ-inspired dish made with beef short ribs that are marinated in a blend of soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. The dish is finished off with a spicy gochujang BBQ sauce.

Finally, Fieri travels to Hawaii to sample some of the unique BBQ flavors of the islands. At one restaurant, he tries a Kalua pork dish, which is slow-cooked in an underground oven called an imu. The pork is then shredded and served with a side of sweet and tangy BBQ sauce.

Throughout the episode, Fieri also meets with the BBQ pitmasters and chefs to learn about the history and techniques behind each BBQ style. He also provides tips and tricks for cooking BBQ at home.

Overall, the All Kinds of BBQ episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives showcases the diverse and delicious world of American BBQ. From the sweet and tangy sauces of Kansas City to the unique flavors of Hawaii, Fieri takes viewers on a mouth-watering journey across the country.
