Ep 17. Night Vision Dino / Dino Glider

Dino Dan is a Canadian television series for children that follows the adventures of a young boy named Dan Henderson, who has a great interest in dinosaurs. In season 2, episode 17, titled "Night Vision Dino / Dino Glider," viewers join Dan on two exciting dinosaur expeditions.

In the first half of the episode, "Night Vision Dino," Dan and his friends go camping in the forest at night. They bring their flashlights and sleeping bags, ready for a night of adventure. The group tries to quietly move away, but the deinonychus follows them, lured by the scent of their food. They quickly realize that the best way to escape is to cross a nearby river, but the current is too strong for them to cross safely. Dan comes up with a plan to build a makeshift raft using logs and vines. They work quickly as the deinonychus gets closer and closer. Will they be able to make it across the river in time?

In the second half of the episode, "Dino Glider," Dan is excited to test out his new invention: a glider that he designed to mimic the wings of a pterosaur. He enlists the help of his friends to launch the glider from a tall hill. Dan straps on his helmet and takes the controls, ready for takeoff.

As the glider soars through the air, Dan gains confidence and starts to perform loops and dives. But when he gets too close to a tree, disaster strikes. The glider crashes and falls to the ground, breaking a wing. Dan is devastated that his invention didn't work as well as he had hoped.

But then, a lucky break occurs. They discover a Quetzalcoatlus, a giant pterosaur, stuck in a tree. Dan realizes that his glider might be able to rescue the stranded dinosaur. He and his friends work quickly to fix the broken wing and make modifications to the glider to make it strong enough to carry the weight of the Quetzalcoatlus.

With the help of the glider, they were able to rescue the Quetzalcoatlus and return it to its home. Dan learns that sometimes you have to fail a few times before you succeed, and that even when things don't go as planned, there is always a silver lining.

"Dino Dan" is an educational show that is full of fun adventures and interesting scientific facts about dinosaurs. Each episode takes viewers on a new journey with Dan as he explores the world of prehistoric creatures.
