Doctor Stranger season 1 episode 9 follows the continuing storylines of Park Hoon, a North Korean defector and genius surgeon, and his colleagues at Myungwoo Hospital in South Korea. In this episode, tensions rise as the hospital staff struggles to save the life of a young patient suffering from a rare and potentially fatal genetic disorder. As the clock ticks down, Hoon and his team must race against time to find a cure before it's too late.

Meanwhile, Hoon's personal life takes a dramatic turn when he discovers that the woman he loves, Song Jae Hee, is actually a spy working for North Korea. Devastated by the betrayal, Hoon struggles to come to terms with his feelings and must decide whether or not to turn Jae Hee over to the authorities.

Adding to the drama, Hoon's nemesis, Chun Myung Hoon, continues to scheme and plot against him, determined to take down the talented surgeon once and for all. With Myung Hoon pulling strings behind the scenes and Jae Hee's true identity revealed, Hoon finds himself in a dangerous and precarious position.
