The Doctor and Mel find themselves in a curious towering complex called Paradise Towers. In it, they discover a society of futuristic tower dwellers divided by class and separated by deadly traps. They also meet a group of rebellious young girls known as the Kangs who are fighting to reclaim their territory from a group of robotic cleaners known as the Caretakers. The Doctor and Mel offer their services to the Kangs and together they investigate the disappearance of a key and the strange cries that can be heard in the corridors. They come up against many challenges including the cannibalistic Rezzies and the enigmatic Chief Caretaker. Can they uncover the mysteries of Paradise Towers and bring an end to the tyranny that plagues its inhabitants?
