Ep 1. Spearhead From Space (1)

The Doctor is back and embarking on a new adventure in season 7 of Doctor Who. In the first episode, titled Spearhead From Space (1), the Doctor has just regenerated into a new incarnation, played by Jon Pertwee. Confused and disoriented, he stumbles out of the TARDIS and collapses in a nearby field.

Meanwhile, a strange meteorite has landed in a woodland area, and when a group of UNIT soldiers investigate, they discover that the meteorite is in fact a spacecraft. Inside the craft is an alien organism that has taken over the body of a man, and is using him as a host in order to gather materials to build a new set of spaceship parts. When the man dies, his body is ejected from the craft and left on Earth.

As the newly regenerated Doctor begins to regain his bearings, he is found by UNIT and taken to a nearby hospital, where he is tended to by a compassionate nurse named Liz Shaw. Meanwhile, the alien organism continues its search for materials, killing anyone who gets in its way.

The Doctor eventually becomes aware of the threat posed by the alien organism, and begins working with UNIT to track it down and stop it before it can complete its mission. Along the way, he faces opposition from some of the UNIT higher-ups, who view him as an unpredictable liability, and also from the alien itself, which is intelligent and fiercely determined.

The episode features some tense action sequences, as well as plenty of mystery and intrigue. Viewers will be on the edge of their seats as they watch the Doctor and his allies try to outsmart the alien and prevent it from carrying out its deadly plan.

Overall, Spearhead From Space (1) is an excellent introduction to the new Doctor's era, and sets the stage for many more exciting adventures to come. It's a must-watch for any fan of the long-running sci-fi series.
