Dog with a Blog Season 2 Episode 14 The Green-Eyed Monster

After a very long hiatus of four years, the popular Disney Channel comedy series “Dog with a Blog” returned with a hilarious new episode named “The Green-Eyed Monster” in season 2. The episode carries on with the exciting and fun adventures of the James-Jennings family and their talking dog, Stan.

As it begins, Avery, Tyler, and Chloe share their excitement about the upcoming dance at school. Avery, who is more of an introverted personality, feels confident enough to ask her crush, Dustin (played by Terry the Tomboy), to the dance. Tyler, on the contrary, is more outgoing, and already has a cute girl, Nikki, asking him en route to the dance. Chloe is still too young to attend the occasion, so she has to stay behind and misses out on all the fun.

Meanwhile, Stan (voiced by Stephen Full) is having his own obsession at home, he's jealous and green with envy of the new pet kitty, Precious. Stan's jealously appears when Ellen (their mom) gives more attention and treats to Precious while constantly scolding him. In an effort to get attention, Stan convinces himself that he's jealous because she's been chosen over him and hatches a plan to make sure the cat never sees the light of day again.

Avery tries to help Stan out so that he could get more attention and deserves to be loved by everyone in the family. In a surprise cameo by the famous cat celebrity Grumpy Cat, Avery learns the responsibilities of taking care of a cat and realizes how torn Stan is as he tries to navigate through his jealousy. With the help of their neighbor Karl (Jim O'Heir), Avery figures out a way to help Stan and make sure that Precious doesn't get wound up in the process.

Things take an interesting turn when Precious suddenly goes missing, and nobody can find her. Everyone is worried and searching for the cat, but Stan is overjoyed until he sees that everyone's worried about Precious and feels guilty. The family works together to find the missing kitten. In the end, the most unlikely hero saves the day and Precious is found, safe and sound.

In the meantime, Tyler feels upset over his girlfriend's constant dancing with and touting Avery's crush, Dustin. He is left heartbroken when Nikki talks about having to leave early from the dance and takes Dustin with her. While Tyler hides his sorrows in a fish tank, Avery tries to comfort him and help him feel better. Tyler is more confused when he realizes that he likes Avery more than his girlfriend, Nikki.

Overall, the episode is an interesting rollercoaster ride of fun, laughter, and emotions. It is a perfect continuation of the storyline to help ease long-time viewers back to the series and introduce new viewers to the lovable characters and their antics.
