Back at the clinic, Dr. Jeff is treating a dog named Dixie, who was hit by a car and has a broken pelvis. The dog's owner is devastated and worried about the cost of Dixie's treatment. Dr. Jeff reassures her that they will do everything they can to help Dixie recover and offers her a payment plan. The team works on Dixie's case for several days, performing surgery to repair her pelvis and monitoring her recovery. Dr. Jeff and his team are determined to get Dixie back on her feet and reunite her with her owner.
Lastly, the team treats a dog named Millie, who has a tumor on her leg that needs to be removed. Dr. Jeff and his team perform the surgery and work on her recovery, but the surgery reveals that the tumor is cancerous. Dr. Jeff explains to the owner that Millie will need further treatment and that the prognosis is not good. However, the team is determined to help and gives Millie the best care possible.
