In Blowin' in the Wind, the dragons are preparing for the annual Windy Day Festival, where they fly kites and compete in various contests. Emmy and Max want to participate, but they are hesitant to join as they don't know how to fly a kite. They ask their dragon friends for help, but they are too busy preparing for the festival. However, Quetzal, the wise and kind dragon, teaches the duo that they can learn how to fly a kite by using teamwork. Together, Emmy and Max assemble the kite and successfully fly it, ultimately learning that they can achieve great things when they work together.

In the second part of the episode, No Hitter, the children and dragons organize a baseball game. Emmy and Max get to be the team captains, and they draft their dragon friends to join their respective teams. Emmy's team is doing well, but Max is struggling to make any progress. When Max finally gets a hit, he realizes that he has accidentally hit the ball over the Wall of Sleep, a barrier that prevents dragons from retrieving the ball. The dragons get upset with Max, but he apologizes and makes a promise never to hit the ball over the wall again. Max learns the importance of honesty, and the team continues to play a fair game, enjoying each other's company.

As in every show, the episode ends with a magical song, which reminds the children of all the lessons they have learned.
