Ep 1. McMystery at McDuck McManor!

The show DuckTales (2017) returns with season 2 episode 1 titled "McMystery at McDuck McManor!". The episode revolves around Scrooge McDuck's lavish estate, McDuck McManor. One night, as Scrooge, Huey, Dewey, and Louie are watching a horror movie, they hear a loud noise coming from the mansion's library. The group rushes to investigate and finds that the room has been completely trashed, with books scattered everywhere.

As the group tries to figure out what happened in the library, strange occurrences start happening throughout the mansion. With this new development, the group splits up to investigate different parts of the mansion. Dewey and Webby explore the basement, while Huey and Louie research the mansion's history in the library. Meanwhile, Scrooge and Mrs. Beakley keep an eye on the mansion's security cameras.

As they investigate, the group realizes that the "ghost" is actually a missing treasure hunter named John D. Rockerduck, who had been hired by Scrooge to retrieve a lost artifact from a temple in the Amazon. It's revealed that while on the mission, Rockerduck found the treasure but was double-crossed by his partner. He managed to escape with the treasure, but his partner pursued him back to McDuck McManor, where a struggle ensued, ultimately leading to Rockerduck's apparent death.

In reality, Rockerduck faked his death and has been living in secret in the mansion's secret tunnels ever since. He was responsible for the recent strange occurrences as he was attempting to retrieve the treasure he had hidden years ago. With the help of the group, Scrooge confronts Rockerduck, and he ultimately surrenders the treasure.

The episode ends with Scrooge realizing the importance of family and making amends with his estranged sister, Della Duck, who has been missing for years.

“McMystery at McDuck McManor!” is an episode full of suspense, mystery, and adventure. With its well-crafted storyline, engaging characters, and clever humor, it's sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seats from start to finish.
