Escape to Chimp Eden Season 2 Episode 3 Josephine is the Name, Trouble is the Game (Part 2)

The path to the right environment for wild animals is not always easy, and as the chimp caretakers at Chimp Eden learn, for Josephine, "home" may mean being sent back to the wild. The episode focuses on Josephine, a previously rescued chimp who has become something of a troublemaker at Chimp Eden - she's been picking on the other chimps and refuses to cooperate with the staff, particularly Eugene, one of the chimp caretakers who has taken on the role of Josephine's primary caregiver. The team at Chimp Eden calls in a trusted animal behaviorist to help them diagnose Josephine's issues and come up with a plan to reintroduce her to her natural habitat. Meanwhile, the show explores the daily routines of the other chimps at Chimp Eden, including a group led by a dominant, aloof male chimp named Jao. There's also a new arrival on the property - a young baboon who was abandoned at a nearby farm and is in need of care. The caretakers at Chimp Eden work tirelessly to make sure that every animal receives the attention and care it needs, whether that means rehabilitation and release back into the wild, or a safe and secure sanctuary where they can live out their days in relative comfort. By the end of the episode, viewers will be on edge to see whether Josephine will turn a new leaf or prove to be too much of a wild card for Chimp Eden to handle, even with the help of their trusted team of animal behaviorists.
