Ep 9. Paper Moon-Shine

Renton and the Gekkostate arrive at a new location known as Pancha Bay, where they plan to rest and make some repairs. However, their plans are interrupted when they encounter a group of LFOs that attack the Gekkostate's ship. Renton is determined to help fight off the attackers and takes his Nirvash out to battle. While he manages to take down one of the LFOs, the others quickly overpower him.

As the group regroups, Renton notices a girl who has been left behind on the beach. She tells him she is a recent widow and has been selling moonshine to support herself. Renton agrees to help her and goes out to purchase some of her moonshine, which he soon discovers is incredibly potent. He gets drunk and causes chaos on the Gekkostate, and the others struggle to contain him.

Meanwhile, the crew discovers that the group of LFO pilots that attacked them are part of a larger organization known as GEKKO State. They are determined to capture the Gekkostate's LFO, Nirvash, and are willing to do whatever it takes to get it. As the crew strategizes how to deal with the GEKKO State threat, Renton remains intoxicated and uncooperative.

Eventually, Renton comes to his senses and decides to use his unique connection with Nirvash to locate the GEKKO State base and confront them directly. He manages to infiltrate their base and confront their leader, and in doing so, learns a shocking truth about the organization.

As the episode comes to a close, Renton and the crew of the Gekkostate face a new challenge and must prepare to defend themselves against an even greater threat.
