Ep 4. The Sierra Spy

In "Finding Bigfoot" Season 3 Episode 4, titled "The Sierra Spy," the team travels to the Sierra Mountains in California to investigate reports of Bigfoot sightings in the area. The team consists of four members: Ranae Holland, a field biologist and tracker; Cliff Barackman, an expert on Bigfoot vocalizations and behavior; James "Bobo" Fay, a Bigfoot researcher and investigator; and Matt Moneymaker, the founder of the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization.

The episode begins with the team interviewing eyewitnesses who claim to have seen a large, ape-like creature in the woods. They describe hearing strange vocalizations and smelling a strong, musky odor. The team sets up a base camp in the wilderness and sets out on foot to search for evidence of Bigfoot activity.

They use a variety of techniques to try and attract the creature, including playing recorded Bigfoot calls, leaving food out as bait, and conducting night-time patrols with thermal imaging cameras. After several days of searching, the team finds a suspicious looking pile of rocks and sticks arranged in a pattern that they believe may be a Bigfoot nest.

Excited about this potential breakthrough, the team sets up cameras and audio recording equipment to monitor the area. They also decide to use a drone with a video camera to get a bird's eye view of the terrain and look for any signs of Bigfoot activity.

As they fly the drone over a remote part of the mountain range, they notice something strange moving around in the brush. They quickly realize that they are not alone - someone is following them, and has been for some time.

The team becomes increasingly wary and begins to suspect that they are being spied on by someone who does not want them to find Bigfoot. They decide to confront the spy and set out to track them down using the drone's camera to get a better view of the surrounding landscape.

As they close in on the source of the mystery, tensions run high and the team prepares for a potentially dangerous encounter. When they finally make contact, they are shocked to discover that their pursuer is none other than a local law enforcement officer who had been following them due to concerns about their safety in such a remote area.

Relieved that there is no danger, the team continues their search for Bigfoot with renewed enthusiasm. They analyze the data from their cameras and recordings, carefully scrutinizing every piece of evidence for signs of Bigfoot activity.

As the episode concludes, the team reflects on their experience in the Sierra Mountains and reaffirms their belief in the existence of Bigfoot. They vow to continue their search, no matter what obstacles may lie ahead.
