The guy who Ohkusu and Youhei glare at is a second year guard of the basketball team, Ryota Miyagi. He was hospitalized after fighting with a senior, Mitsui Hisashi and his gang. Ryota gets in a tussle with Mitsui--also recently released from the hospital--once again. However, Ryota is more concerned about Hanamichi and Ayako--whom he mistakes them of being together.
