Forecasting the End is a Weather Channel show that examines end-of-the-world scenarios and the science behind the theories. Among the topics discussed on the first season in 2013 were large volcanic eruptions, super tsunamis and solar flares strong enough to kill people. The very first episode examined a theory about whether underwater methane explosions could have been responsible for the disappearance of the dinosaurs.
