Ep 10. Safe

In the tenth episode of the first season of Fringe, titled "Safe," the team is called in to investigate a series of small earthquakes in a small town. However, they soon realize that the earthquakes are being caused by a device called an "earthquake machine," which is being used by a group of terrorists to blackmail the government into releasing one of their members from prison.

As the team works to locate the machine and the terrorists behind it, they discover that the device is also causing dangerous levels of radiation, putting the entire town at risk. With time running out, Olivia, Walter, and Peter must race against the clock to stop the terrorists and disable the machine before it's too late.

Meanwhile, Peter continues to struggle with the aftermath of his father's return and his own feelings of betrayal and resentment. He confronts Walter about his past actions and demands to know the truth about his mother's death. Walter is forced to confront his own guilt and come to terms with the consequences of his choices, both past and present.

As the episode comes to a close, the team succeeds in stopping the terrorists and saving the town from destruction. However, the repercussions of their actions will continue to reverberate in the lives of our characters in the episodes to come.
