Tohru Honda is an orphan who has recently stumbled upon a secret - members of the Souma family are cursed to turn into animals of the zodiac when hugged by members of the opposite sex. Despite this, Tohru has been welcomed into the Souma household and has become good friends with many of the members, including Kyo and Yuki. Season 2 of the anime adaptation of the popular manga picks up where the first season left off, with Tohru gradually discovering more about the curse and the Souma family's complicated dynamics.

In Let's Go Home, the eleventh episode of season 2, Tohru has just returned from a trip to her grandfather's house with Kyo and Yuki. Despite the fun they had, Tohru senses that something is off and takes a detour to visit her mother's grave. There, she has a heart-to-heart with her mother's spirit and reflects on the progress she has made since her mother's death.

Meanwhile, Kyo and Yuki are both struggling with their feelings for Tohru. Kyo has come to realize that he is in love with her, but feels unworthy of her affection due to his cursed form. Yuki, on the other hand, has recently come to accept his own feelings for Tohru and is trying to figure out how to express them in a way that she will understand.

As the three of them make their way back to the Souma household, they encounter some unexpected visitors - members of the student council who have been tasked with investigating Yuki's past. This leads to a tense confrontation, with Kyo and Yuki both standing up for Yuki and refusing to let the student council bully him.

However, the real conflict comes when Tohru suddenly collapses from an illness. As Kyo and Yuki rush her to the hospital, they are forced to confront their feelings for her once again. Will they be able to put aside their rivalry and work together to take care of the girl they both love?

Let's Go Home is a powerful episode that delves deeper into the emotional turmoil of the Souma family members. The relationship between Tohru, Kyo, and Yuki is at the heart of the series, and this episode highlights the intensity of their feelings for each other. At the same time, the conflict with the student council adds a new layer of tension to the story and raises questions about Yuki's past.

Overall, Let's Go Home is a must-watch episode for fans of Fruits Basket. It is an emotional rollercoaster that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats and eagerly anticipating the next installment in the series.
