Bushiroad created a card game named Future Card Buddyfight where instead of animals and monsters they were real people who had certain strengths, weaknesses and powers. The point of the card game is to pit your cast of characters in your deck against the cast of characters in other people's decks. This card game became a very big deal in Japan and then took over card playing games in the US. Once the popularity of the card game took over, OLM decided to create an animated TV show based on this card game. The most popular cards were depicted, and the end of the show always ended in a grand fight just like one would imagine the card game would look like. Like most anime TV shows, the cartoon is voiced in Japanese and then re-dubbed in English
