On the Dinosaur Planet, a dinosaur named Tiny asks Tetsuro to let him board the 999. Of course, the 999 isn't built for dinosaur-sized passengers, no matter how "tiny" he may be. However, the locals are fearful of people from other planets and attack and capture them.
