Getbackers Season 1 Episode 8 Resound, Sound Life

Ginji and Ban are hired by a woman named Yurine to retrieve a valuable item called the resound. However, they soon discover that the resound is not an object, but a person who can control sound waves. The person they are searching for is a young boy named Makubex, who was once a member of a nefarious organization known as the Volts.

Ginji and Ban infiltrate the Volts' headquarters in order to find Makubex. Along the way, they encounter a member of the Volts named Fudou who has the ability to create sound waves that can shatter anything in their path. Despite Fudou's strength, Ginji and Ban are able to defeat him with their combined powers.

Once they reach Makubex, they learn that he has been working to dismantle the Volts' organization from the inside. However, his plans are interrupted when an old enemy of the Getbackers, Dr. Jackal, arrives with the intention of taking the resound for himself.

After a fierce battle, Ginji and Ban are able to emerge victorious and retrieve Makubex. However, they are left questioning whether the young boy can be trusted and whether they have truly accomplished their mission.

As the episode comes to a close, Ginji and Ban are left to contemplate the consequences of their actions and the dangers of getting involved with organizations like the Volts.
