Ep 2. Ghost Guards

The episode named "Ghost Guards" opens with the Ghost Hunters team investigating a historic mansion in the New England area that has a long-standing reputation for paranormal activity. Supposedly, the mansion had been empty for several years after a string of disturbances prompted previous owners to flee in terror. The mansion has since been acquired by a wealthy businessman who commissioned a group of private security guards to monitor the property and deter would-be trespassers.

The Ghost Hunters team meets with the security team and learns that the guards have experienced numerous unexplainable occurrences during their shifts. The guards claim to hear footsteps, whispers, and strange voices coming from empty rooms. They also claim to see shadowy figures moving through the hallways and disappearing into thin air. The Ghost Hunters team is intrigued by the guards' accounts and eager to investigate the mansion.

The team splits up and begins their investigation. One team focuses on the basement while the other team searches the upper floors. The basement team is immediately struck by an oppressive sense of foreboding as they descend down the stairs. They notice a strange, musty smell that seems to permeate the air. They explore the various rooms and interview the security guards stationed in the basement. One guard claims to have seen a shadow figure dart across the room and disappear behind a wall. The Ghost Hunters team sets up various instruments, including thermal cameras and digital voice recorders, to capture any evidence of paranormal activity.

Upstairs, the other team is also experiencing weird phenomena. They hear strange noises coming from behind a locked door and investigate. When they open the door, they are hit by the smell of sulfur and see a strange mist hovering in the room. One team member records a voice on their digital recorder, which seems to whisper "get out." The team takes this as a sign that they should move on.

As the night progresses, the teams experience various other events that heighten their suspicion that the house is indeed haunted. They hear unexplained footsteps, hear doors opening and closing on their own, see shadow figures moving across the room, and more.

Eventually, the teams convene to present their findings to the security guards. They reveal several audio and video recordings that seem to capture evidence of paranormal activity. One recording, in particular, stands out in which a disembodied voice is heard saying "I can see you." The security guards are stunned by the evidence and admit that they no longer feel safe working in the mansion. One guard reveals that he had felt something grab him while he was sitting at his desk and had been too afraid to ever return to that spot again.

The Ghost Hunters team concludes that the mansion is indeed haunted and recommends that the security guards hire a team of paranormal investigators to help rid the property of any malicious spirits. They also advise the guards to be extra cautious when patrolling the property, as they could potentially be in danger. The team collects their equipment and heads out, satisfied with their investigation and excited to see what the next haunted location has in store for them.
