In season 2 episode 4 of Ghost Hunters, the team investigates two locations: Mordecai Historic Park in North Carolina and the USS North Carolina battleship.
At Mordecai Historic Park, the team explores the Andrew Johnson house, which served as a field hospital during the Civil War. Witnesses have reported strange noises and apparitions throughout the house, leading the Ghost Hunters to investigate.
As the team begins their investigation, they set up various pieces of ghost hunting equipment, including thermal cameras and EMF meters. They split up into smaller groups to cover more ground and increase their chances of encountering paranormal activity.
One team explores the upstairs bedrooms, where they pick up strange noises and see orbs of light on their thermal cameras. Another team investigates the basement, where they hear loud banging noises and pick up high EMF readings. The Ghost Hunters also conduct an EVP session in the living room, attempting to communicate with any spirits that may reside in the house.
After their investigation at Mordecai Historic Park, the Ghost Hunters head to the USS North Carolina battleship. The ship served during World War II and is now a museum, but visitors have reported unusual activity, including the sounds of footsteps and voices when no one else is around.
The team splits up and explores various areas of the ship, including the engine room, the bridge, and the sleeping quarters. They use their equipment to try and capture evidence of any paranormal activity, and conduct an EVP session in the ship's chapel.
As the investigation continues, the Ghost Hunters pick up various pieces of evidence, including EVPs and unexplained noises. They also have a few personal experiences, such as feeling cold spots or being touched by an unseen entity.
Overall, the team concludes that both locations have a significant amount of paranormal activity. They believe that at Mordecai Historic Park, the house's history as a field hospital during the Civil War may be responsible for the hauntings. On the USS North Carolina, the team believes that the energy of the ship and its past may be attracting spirits.
