In Ghost Hunters season 4 episode 3, titled "Words From Beyond," the team heads to a location with an eerie history, the Hill View Manor. Previously utilized as a home for the elderly, Hill View Manor is reputed to be haunted with spirits, hence the reason for it being abandoned for over a decade.

The team comes prepared with their usual arsenal of high tech equipment, including digital recorders, thermal cameras, and EMF detectors. They begin their investigation by interviewing the staff members, who have previously encountered some paranormal activity and claim to have experienced some uncanny incidents in the building.

The team then splits into smaller groups to cover the different areas of the establishment, specifically the first and second floors, as well as the basement. Even in the beginning, there is no shortage of strange occurrences and the team investigates diligently, determined to shed some light on the spooky events that have been taking place.

The first group, composed of Steve and Tango, hears clear and distinct knocking sounds from various directions in the basement. Adding to this bizarre phenomenon, they also detect an EMF field that seems to shift its position as they move around. This particular incident whets their appetite for more investigation in the basement area.

The second group, consisting of Amy and Kris, investigates the second floor, which was previously used to house residents. They walk around with a thermal camera and detect cold spots and unexplained temperature changes. As they investigate further, one particular room catches their attention. The team feels an odd sense of energy emanating from the room, and it is enough to convince them to return later for a second investigation.

Meanwhile, Grant and Jason lead the third group, who explore the first floor. They use their digital recorders to capture EVPs or electronic voice phenomena, with Jason recording a strange and eerie voice that was not audible to the naked ear.

What stands out in this episode is the team's ability to communicate with the spirits they believe are haunting the place. Utilizing their digital recorders, they try to ask questions and get answers from the entities they feel are in the building. They also try to use trigger objects such as antique jewelry and toys to elicit activity.

As the investigation progresses, the team realizes that they are dealing with not just one entity but several. They begin to receive intelligent responses to their questions via EVPs, and the team ultimately concludes that the ghosts are trying to communicate with them in their own way.

The episode concludes with the team bringing all the data they collected back to their lab for further analysis. The data they collected will be used to confirm or deny if the Hill View Manor is, in fact, haunted, as well as who or what might be haunting it.

Overall, Ghost Hunters season 4 episode 3, "Words From Beyond," is a gripping episode that showcases the team's skill and tenacity in their investigation. The team navigated the eerie and unsettling location remarkably well and has the experience to tell a good ghost story. With the use of their sophisticated techniques and equipment, they were able to capture some fascinating evidence of the paranormal and channeled their communication with entities very well. The Hill View Manor had an undeniable mystique that was not easily dismissed. The episode was an exciting and breathtaking experience for any ghost and paranormal buff.
