Ep 23. Pensacola Lighthouse

In season 5, episode 23 of Ghost Hunters, the team heads to Pensacola, Florida to investigate the famous Pensacola Lighthouse. Built in 1858, the lighthouse is said to be haunted by the spirits of former lighthouse keepers and sailors who lost their lives at sea.

The team is met by John McLean, the executive director of the lighthouse, who takes them on a tour of the property. During the tour, he shares various stories and experiences that he and others have had over the years, including footsteps and voices that have been heard when no one else is around.

After the tour, the team sets up their equipment and splits into two groups to begin their investigation. Steve and Tango head up to the top of the lighthouse to start their investigation there. They set up a thermal imaging camera and a device that detects changes in temperature and electromagnetic fields. While they don't catch anything on camera, they do hear strange noises and voices throughout the night.

Meanwhile, Jason and Grant head to the basement of the lighthouse to set up their equipment. They use a laser grid to detect any movement, as well as a device that emits white noise to help spirits communicate. They also use a device that measures changes in air pressure, which they believe can indicate the presence of a spirit. While they don't capture any definitive evidence, they do hear strange noises and voices.

Later in the episode, the team reunites to review their findings. They discover that they've captured several EVPs (electronic voice phenomena) throughout the night, including one that seems to say "hello" in response to a team member's greeting. They also find that their thermal imaging camera captured strange movements at the top of the lighthouse, which they can't explain.

Overall, the team concludes that while they didn't capture any definitive evidence, they did experience several strange occurrences throughout the night that could be attributed to paranormal activity. They recommend that the lighthouse continue to be monitored and investigated in order to further understand the spirits that may be haunting it.
