G.I. Joe Season 1 Episode 43 Captives of Cobra (2)

In this episode of G.I. Joe, titled "Captives of Cobra (2)," the group continues their mission to rescue their comrades who have been captured by the evil organization Cobra. The team is split into two groups, with Duke leading one and Scarlett leading the other, and both groups must navigate through Cobra territory to get to their captured friends.

The episode begins with Duke's group, which includes Snake Eyes, Ripcord, and a new ally named Spirit. They are being pursued by Cobra soldiers, but manage to take them out with their weapons. They then come across a hidden entrance to Cobra's base and manage to sneak in undetected, using a map provided by Lady Jaye.

Meanwhile, Scarlett's group, which includes Flint, Beach Head, and a captured Firefly, are being held as prisoners in Cobra's underground base. They manage to break free from their cells with the help of Firefly, who has a change of heart and decides to help the Joes. They then make their way through the base, avoiding Cobra soldiers and traps, in an attempt to find their way out.

Back with Duke's group, they come across a room filled with Cobra's advanced technology, including a giant laser cannon. They attempt to destroy the cannon but are caught by Cobra Commander and his troops. A fight breaks out, with both sides exchanging gunfire and hand-to-hand combat. In the chaos, Duke is captured by Cobra and taken to the same cell as Scarlett and her team.

Together, the Joes come up with a plan to escape their cell and take down Cobra once and for all. They use their combined skills to take out the guards and make their way to the surface. They then stage a distraction and manage to destroy Cobra's base before escaping in a helicopter.

The episode ends with the Joes regrouping and capturing Cobra operatives for interrogation. They also celebrate the successful rescue of their comrades and the destruction of Cobra's base. However, they know that they must remain vigilant, as Cobra is sure to strike back with even more force.
