Before and After is the 15th episode of Grey's Anatomy's fifth season. Todd was a convict with a violent past, and he had always been in and out of trouble with the law. However, during his stay at the hospital, Todd's demeanor changed drastically. The doctors put their heads together to come up with a way to treat Mrs. Cook's condition. However, during the process, it is revealed that her cancer has spread too aggressively and that there is nothing more that the doctors can do to save her.
