Ep 2. Chris' New Girlfriend

Chris finally introduces his new girlfriend, Lucy, to his friends in "Guys With Kids" season 1 episode 2. She's a smart, successful lawyer who seems to have it all together. The guys give Chris a hard time about his relationship, but he's smitten and hopes they'll all get along.

Gary and Marny reveal a surprise pregnancy to their friends, but Chris' news overshadows it. Nick and Emily have to leave early to attend a wedding, but promise to catch up with everyone later.

As the group starts to get to know Lucy, they question whether she's too perfect. She's well-traveled, cultured and beautiful, which intimidates some of the guys. Even though they are skeptical, they all try to be welcoming to Lucy. Bobby can't help but flirt with her, which causes some tension with his wife, Marny.

However, things start to unravel when Lucy reveals her career aspirations to Chris. He's supportive, but she reveals that taking a job overseas is a strong possibility. Chris gets upset because he doesn't want to be in a long distance relationship and feels like Lucy isn't valuing their relationship enough. The rest of the group tries to give Chris advice and provide support.

Meanwhile, Gary and Marny struggle to keep their secret pregnancy under wraps. Gary accidentally reveals it to the group, but he's quick to cover up the mistake by pretending to have indigestion. Marny is furious, but the group is thrilled for them.

Nick and Emily have a rough night at the wedding they attend and end up fighting. They come home early and hash things out, making up in time to celebrate Gary and Marny's pregnancy with the rest of the group.

As the night comes to an end, Chris and Lucy resolve their argument and Chris sees that Lucy truly values their relationship. The group is happy for them and the night ends on a positive note.
