Hotel Impossible season 1 episode 15, titled "Triangle T Ranch," sees host Anthony Melchiorri traveling to the small town of Dragoon, Arizona, to help out a struggling bed and breakfast that is actually a working ranch. The Triangle T Ranch is owned by a family who have been running it for over 27 years, but lately, things haven't been going well for them. The family is exhausted and in debt, and the ranch is in need of some serious repairs. Plus, the competition in the area is fierce, so the Triangle T Ranch needs to up its game if it's going to stay in business.
Melchiorri arrives at the Triangle T Ranch and is immediately struck by the beautiful location. The ranch is situated on 50 acres of land with stunning views of the mountains and desert, and it's clear that this could be an attractive draw for guests. However, as he meets with the family who own the ranch, Melchiorri learns that there are several major problems that need to be addressed.
Firstly, the rooms are in a state of disrepair, with old and mismatched furniture, outdated decor, and dirty carpets. It's clear that nobody has given the rooms a thorough cleaning for a long time, and guests are unlikely to feel comfortable staying in them. In addition to this, the family who run the ranch seem to be working around the clock to manage all of the different aspects of the business, from feeding the animals to cooking meals to taking out the trash. There's no real delegation of tasks or clear responsibilities, which means that everyone is spread too thin and nothing is getting done as well as it should.
To make matters worse, there's also a serious lack of branding and marketing for the Triangle T Ranch. The website is outdated and poorly designed, there's no social media presence to speak of, and the family seems unsure about how to position the ranch to attract guests. As Melchiorri points out, if nobody knows that the Triangle T Ranch exists, they're not going to be able to stay in business for much longer.
With all of these issues to address, Melchiorri gets to work with a team of experts to try and turn things around for the Triangle T Ranch. One of the major projects is to completely revamp the rooms, with new furniture, linens, and decor. This is a huge task, but the team works tirelessly to get everything done in time for the big reveal. Melchiorri also works with the family to establish clear roles and responsibilities, so that everybody knows what they're supposed to be doing and nobody is overwhelmed.
In addition to these changes, Melchiorri also helps the family to improve their branding and marketing efforts. The team works on creating a new website that showcases the beauty of the ranch and the comfortable accommodations available, and they also establish a social media presence to help spread the word about the Triangle T Ranch.
Finally, it's time for the big reveal, and Melchiorri is nervous about whether the family will be pleased with the changes. When they see the new and improved rooms, however, they are overjoyed. With new furniture, comfortable beds, and beautiful decor, the rooms are transformed into inviting and comfortable spaces that guests will be happy to stay in. The family is also thrilled with the new website and social media accounts, which should help them to attract more guests to the ranch.
Overall, the transformation of the Triangle T Ranch is a major success, and Melchiorri is able to leave Dragoon knowing that he has made a significant difference to the family and their business. With the new improvements in place, the Triangle T Ranch is now well-positioned to compete with other hotels in the area and provide guests with an unforgettable Western experience that they will treasure for years to come.
