The episode "Pirates x And x Guesses" is the 19th episode of the second season of the anime series Hunter X Hunter (2011). This episode sees the continuation of the Chimera Ant Arc, as the hunters continue their mission to stop the Chimera Ant Queen and prevent the disaster that could be caused by the birth of the King.
The episode begins with the introduction of a new character named Knuckle, an ex-pro boxer who is also a member of the Shadow Beast elite guard. The Nen user, named Dr. Blythe, possesses the ability to bring inanimate objects to life and control them. Kite and the others decide to help Dr. Blythe retrieve the item, as it may give them valuable information about the Chimera Ants.
As they approach the ship, they realize that they are not the only ones looking for the item. A group of pirates, led by a man named Razor, are also after it. The ensuing battle between the hunters, Dr. Blythe, and the pirates is intense and action-packed. Razor proves to be a formidable opponent, exhibiting incredible strength and agility. However, with the combined efforts of the hunters and Dr. Blythe's ability, they are able to defeat the pirates and retrieve the item.
After the battle, Kite and Colt realize that this incident may not have been a coincidence. They suspect that the Chimera Ants may have played a role in it, possibly in an attempt to retrieve the item themselves. This leads them to believe that the Chimera Ants may be more organized and intelligent than they initially thought.
Meanwhile, Gon and Killua encounter a Chimera Ant that possesses the power to manipulate people's memories. The Ant, named Rammot, is searching for a human who can teach him how to use Nen. He remembers a conversation he overheard between the hunters about Nen, and thus believes that Gon and Killua could be of use to him.
Rammot manages to manipulate Killua's memories, causing him to forget about his Nen abilities. However, Gon is able to outsmart Rammot by using his own Nen ability to manipulate his own memories. This enables him to remember his training with Biscuit, and use his full Nen potential to defeat Rammot.
Overall, "Pirates x And x Guesses" is an exciting episode that showcases both the action and the intelligence of the hunters as they face new challenges in their mission to stop the Chimera Ants. The episode is also notable for the introduction of Knuckle, who proves to be a valuable new character in the series.
