Gon and Killua are still in search of a way to enter Greed Island, the rare video game that holds clues to finding Gon's father. In their quest, they come across the Nen exorcist, Abengane, who offers to help them with his skills but demands a hefty price in return. As Gon and Killua try to find a way to gather the money, they stumble upon an auction for a valuable gem that could fetch them enough money to pay Abengane. They decide to enter the auction and use their skills to outbid the others, including the infamous Phantom Troupe, a group of deadly thieves with their eyes set on the gem. As the bidding reaches an all-time high, Killua's older brother, Illumi, enters the scene and reveals his own agenda in the auction. Gon and Killua must now navigate the treacherous waters of the auction and deal with the deadly players involved, all while trying to secure the gem and make their way closer to finding Greed Island.
