Gon and Killua continue their training on the basics of Nen. Wing, their master, teaches them about Ten, which is the ability to use Nen to create a protective shield around oneself. Meanwhile, the remaining members of the Phantom Troupe gather and prepare to leave Yorknew City. Chrollo, their leader, receives a message from Hisoka, who challenges him to a one-on-one fight. Chrollo accepts the challenge and sets a time and place for their duel. As Hisoka begins to prepare for his fight with Chrollo, he realizes that he may have underestimated his opponent's abilities. Elsewhere, Kurapika receives a phone call from a friend who tells him about a strange message he received from a member of the Phantom Troupe. Kurapika sets out to investigate the message and find out what the Troupe is up to. As the day of the duel between Chrollo and Hisoka approaches, both fighters prepare themselves mentally and physically for the battle ahead.
