Ep 2. Everybody's Talking About Dave

In the second episode of Indebted season 1, titled "Everybody's Talking About Dave," viewers are introduced to the main character's father, Dave. Dave is now a struggling businessman who has hit rock bottom and is living out of his car. Meanwhile, his daughter Debbie is getting frustrated with her in-laws who seem not to want to give up their lavish lifestyle and help her parents out of their financial woes.

Debbie's husband, Stew, has a plan to help his father-in-law out by introducing him to a wealthy friend who might be interested in investing in Dave's business. However, things don't go as planned when Dave embarrasses himself in front of the friend and Stew's father-in-law takes advantage of the situation to try and take over the business.

At the same time, Debbie and her brother Max are trying to find a way to scrape together enough money to help their parents pay for their mortgage so they don't lose their home. They come up with a plan to sell some of the family's old memorabilia at a local auction. However, things quickly get out of hand when Max and his girlfriend get into a bidding war over a rare baseball card and accidentally spend all the money they had hoped to earn.

Meanwhile, Dave is struggling to get back on his feet and is living out of his car. When Debbie finds out, she takes him in but quickly regrets her decision when he starts eating all of her food and taking over her home. In a hilarious scene, Debbie tries to set boundaries with her father but ultimately fails when Dave starts playing with her daughter's toys.

In the end, things start to look up for the family when Stew's father-in-law comes up with a surprising solution to Dave's business troubles that might just save the day. But with this family, nothing ever goes as planned, and viewers are left with a cliffhanger ending that will leave them on the edge of their seats for the next episode.
