The hit tattoo competition series, Ink Master, continues with season 12 episode 5, titled The Art Stands Alone. In this episode, the remaining tattoo artists are encouraged to focus on their individual artistry, with each contestant taking on a different artistic style to showcase their skills.

As always, the stakes are high, and tensions are even higher as the artists compete for a spot in the final round. But this time around, the judges have a special twist up their sleeves: they'll be judging each tattoo based purely on its aesthetic value, with no consideration for the story behind the piece, or the meaning it may hold for the artist or their client.

This artistic parameter puts the artists in a tough spot, as they strive to create visually stunning tattoos while also staying true to their own unique style. The judges – consisting of tattoo legends Dave Navarro, Chris Nunez, and Oliver Peck – offer their critiques and feedback as the artists work tirelessly to complete their pieces.

At the end of the episode, only one contestant will be declared the winner, earning immunity from elimination in the subsequent round. Meanwhile, the bottom two artists will face off in the notorious elimination tattoo, where they'll have to prove their skills under even more pressure, with one of them ultimately being sent home.

Throughout the episode, audiences will witness stunning artwork, intense competition, and a fascinating glimpse into the world of tattoo artistry. As always, Ink Master brings the drama, the excitement, and the skill that viewers have come to expect from this beloved television series.
